New Practice Weekly is run by Michael Sobel in Los Angeles, California. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions: newpracticeweekly@gmail.com.
What we collect on this site
- When you request a sample: your email address and the specialty and state you choose.
- When you visit: our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address too.
We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your email to send the sample you asked for and to follow up about it. We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services we use to run the business: Netlify for this website and its form, and Google for email.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or 24 months after we were last in touch, whichever comes first.
Your choices
- Reply "no" to any email from us, and we'll stop emailing you.
- Email us to see or delete the information we hold about you. California residents can make these requests at the same address.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across sites, so we don't change anything in response to Do Not Track signals.
The data in our lists
Our lists come from the federal NPI registry (CMS NPPES): public records that healthcare providers file with the government. They contain business contact details, such as the practice name, address and phone, and the name and title of the authorized official. If you're a provider and want your practice left off our lists, email us and we'll remove it.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
